Clothing, equipment and changing

When deciding what to wear you should always consider the type of activity you’ve booked. Most of our adventures at the Summit will mean you’ll probably get hot, sweaty and possible dirty.

You may want to bring a change of clothes which you can swap into after your experience. Changing facilities, including shower facilities, are available on site.

If you’re climbing, skating or trekking bring appropriate footwear, such as sensible sports shoes. Sandals, slip-on shoes, open toed shoes, high heels, open back shoes and croc type shoes are not permitted under any circumstances.

To protect your hands you may wish to wear a thin pair of gloves.

If you’re visiting the skate park you will need to wear helmets and pads, you can bring your own or hire them.

If you’re skiing we advise you wear a long sleeved lightweight top and loose fitting trousers. Some people like to wear gloves in case they fall on the carpet.

In order for your feet to fit ski boots as snuggly as possible you are advised to wear long smooth lightweight socks. In winter months you may wish to wear warm clothes.

All other equipment is provided by us including skis, boards, helmets and boots but you can, if you wish, bring your own. We provide appropriate bowling shoes for all sizes from junior 2 to adult size 15.
